Storage

The CaddyLite 11.5 V3 is designed to hold cart bags and stand bags. Brackets hold the bag upright and elastic straps stretch around it to secure it.

It also has a mesh net, a beverage holder and an umbrella holder. The umbrella holder has a knob that tightens onto the umbrella shaft, which is different from simple cylinder holders where the umbrella can move around.

Weight, Size and Dimensions

CaddyTek lists the cart at 12.2 pounds, which places it among the lighter three-wheel push carts. Extended dimensions are listed as 53.5 x 27.2 x 45.67 inches.

Wheels

The cart has three wheels: the rear wheels are 11 inches and the front wheel is 8 inches. A smaller front wheel puts more weight toward the front, which generally makes a cart easier to turn but gives up some stability on sidehills.

The wheels are airless and maintenance-free, so there is no inflating or deflating through the season.

Things to Weigh Up

  • Stability on slopes: A light cart with a foot brake and a smaller front wheel can be less stable on hilly courses.
  • Weight: A very light frame can feel too light for some golfers with heavy bags.
  • Budget positioning: CaddyTek positions the cart as a lower-cost alternative to premium push carts.
