Among the courses below, the green fees we could confirm (mostly 2024 to 2026) run from about $40 at municipal courses to $300 to $750 at top resorts and destination courses, with a few above that. Private clubs rarely publish what they charge, so their numbers are press estimates, not price lists. Where we could not find a credible source, the table says so. Prices last checked 6 October 2026.

A 2024 club-leader survey by GGA Partners and CMAA, reported by Private Club Marketing, put average operating dues at about $10,700 a year. That is a national average across all kinds of clubs, not a quote for any club listed here.
How we checked these numbers
Our older club pages carried figures that did not hold up. Several clubs we had listed as public are private, some prices were years out of date, and a few figures contradicted each other. We re-checked every course against official rate pages where we could find them, and against named golf media where we could not.
- Verified rows show a rate from an official page or a named outlet, with the date.
- Estimate rows (private clubs) are reported by press, not confirmed by the club. We only show one when a named outlet printed a specific figure.
- "Not verified" means we could not find a credible current rate. We would rather leave it blank than guess.
- "Not published" means the club does not release fees, and the figures floating around online conflict or come from low-quality aggregators.
- "Unconfirmed" means our page does not say where the course is, so we could not tell which course the name refers to.
Fees change by season, day and tee time, so use a row as a guide and confirm with the course before you book. Some individual club pages linked below still show older figures that have not been re-checked yet.

Rates are for one adult playing 18 holes unless noted. Walking and cart rules differ by course, so compare the notes in each row rather than the numbers alone.
Private clubs
Private clubs set their own fees and almost never publish them. Rows with a figure come from a named outlet that printed a specific number, and they are estimates. The rest are marked as not published. If you are comparing clubs, ask the membership office for the current schedule, including any capital assessments and food and beverage minimums.
