Earlier Pinehurst-area prices
In 2019, Golf.com listed Pine Needles at $215 and Mid Pines at $205 for a regular round, and Pinehurst No. 2 at $375, per person. Those are stale and will not match today's rates, so we list them only to show how much resort prices have moved. Check the resort's own site for current rates.
How North Carolina compares
Golf.com, citing Supreme Golf tee-time data, put North Carolina's average booked round at $64 in 2023, against $62 in New Jersey and $70 in California. It is an average of what people paid on a tee-time site, not a fee list. Quail Hollow's initiation fee was reportedly $100,000 in June 2021, per the same Golf.com article, so reported figures have risen. With only four clubs on our list in this state, treat this page as a starting point and not a full guide.
