The Precision NX7 Pro is a slope-capable laser rangefinder from Precision Pro, one of the golf rangefinders we cover. It has two screens, one LCD and another red LED.
This rangefinder includes a tilt function with a removable section that makes this rangefinder legal to use in tournaments and all competitions. While the NX7 is a little pricey, you get what you pay for.
Precision Pro NX7 Slope Overview
The lens of this device offers 6x magnification, where many units offer between 3 and 4. The NX7 uses TAG (Target Acquisition Technology) to help lock onto a pin, paired with pulse technology that lets you know when you have locked onto the target.
Precision Pro NX7 Slope Laser Golf Rangefinder Features
Adaptive Slope Measurement
The Adaptive Slope Measurement Technology factors in the change in elevation for each shot. Imagine playing par 3 and the tee box is about 2 feet above the green. This range finder is able to factor in the change in elevation to give you a slope-adjusted yardage.
Pulse Vibration Technology
Whenever the rangefinder has locked onto a target it gives a quick pulse to give you notification of the final yardage.
Water Resistant
The NX7 Slope is water resistant and can be used in rainy and wet conditions without issue.
Battery Replacement
Precision Pro used to offer a free lifetime battery replacement with purchase. Its battery replacement page now says that program has been discontinued, so do not buy this rangefinder expecting free batteries. The NX7 Pro takes a CR2 3-volt battery, which is sold by most electronics and camera retailers. See our rangefinder battery guide for details.
